Ashley is an undergraduate at MIT, studying chemistry. She is also a part of Women’s Business Leaders (WBL), an on-campus group. She has interests in marketing and entrepreneurship. She like marketing because it allows her to combine her two favorite passions: art and science. The science aspect allows her to observe and understand the needs and desires of members. The art allows her to create compelling content and pitches that appeal to local business owners. Together these skills make problem-solving interesting and enjoyable. In terms of entrepreneurship, she loves to analyze different entrepreneurial ecosystems, because it allows her to understand how local businesses are driving innovation in order to improve the standard of living in their neighborhoods. Cambridge Local First combines all these elements.
