Katie Labrie is a Cambridge native who, before joining CLF as Executive Director in the fall of 2024, spent the previous 25 years in Los Angeles working in the entertainment industry where she was a producer and creative executive in film, television, and digital media. During the pandemic, Katie pivoted to launch a consulting company to help small businesses migrate their in-person operations online through content creation and digital marketing. It was this experience that inspired her to return home and pursue a path in small business advocacy. She strives to use her storytelling skills and marketing expertise to amplify the voices of independent business owners and entrepreneurs in both the local consumer arena and on the national stage.
