Amira’s the child of immigrants and comes from a long line of small business owners. She spent weekends growing up at her family’s convenience store in the Bay Area and her aunt’s real estate business. These experiences taught her the important role that small businesses play in the lifeblood of a community. Amira’s also a founder herself. Most recently, she founded Glow, a platform for podcasters to monetize their podcasts, which sold to Libsyn (LSYN) in 2021.
Amira has an MBA from the Wharton School and an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School, where she studied technology and public policy.
