Daniel “Dan” Kane is a Registered Patent Attorney and Corporate Counsel focused on serving startups and small businesses throughout the Northeast. Dan has spent over ten years focused on entrepreneurship and small business policy, and is currently pursuing several ventures in and around Cambridge — most notably a solo legal practice focused on intellectual property and government contracting matters. Originally from Poughkeepsie, New York, Dan moved to Cambridge, MA in September 2019 to support his fiancée, Samantha, as she pursues a joint MPP/PhD in education policy from Harvard University. Dan, Samantha, and their one-year-old puppy Tucker live north of Harvard Square, near the intersections of Concord Avenue and Garden Street.
