My professional focus is on economic development in Gateway Cities, the mid-sized post-industrial centers across Massachusetts. I focus on providing better technical assistance, promoting community driven and partnership led development, and I run a small business acceleration grant program for our cities as well. I also have a background in electoral politics, education, and government relations. I’ve lived in Cambridge since 2015 and I’ve been involved with the East Cambridge Planning Team and the Participatory Budgeting Outreach Committee. I also serve Cambridge as a Justice of the Peace.
This work interests me greatly, as I believe supporting small business development is one of the most effective ways to help build local wealth. I believe in strengthening the small business community in Cambridge, and encouraging local buying and making local businesses more visible to consumers are effective ways to do so.
