As president and general manager of Irving House for the past twenty three years, Ms. Solem has been active in the business community of Cambridge serving on the boards of the Harvard Square Business Association, Cambridge Hotel Association, Chamber of Commerce, and the Cambridge Historical Society as well as the Massachusetts Lodging Association. She is the mother of two CRLS graduates and grandmother of two Cambridge natives, one in the Cambridge Public Schools.
